Because Halfabubbleoff Music Studio does not have the huge overhead of big city commerical music studios, we can afford to be generous with our singer / songwriter guests.
In addition to providing a uniquely creative and productive environment, Jim's approach to supporting singer / songwriters is to offer reasonable rates which helps to relieve the financial stress that most songwriters feel when it comes to music studio time and the need to walk away with a quality music production.
Jim's normal hourly fee is $65.00. This applies to a songwriter who either works with Jim remotely by sending their vocal recording on-line or physically comes here to the music studio in Darby Montana for only a day or two.
We apply a sliding scale to both the guest home(s) and the hourly music studio rate for songwriters who come here to Darby Montana to stay at our ranch and work with Jim in the music studio...A very inspirational and productive working vacation!! Our detached 1,000 sq.ft. fully self-contained private guest home normally rents for $120.00 per night (the attached 720 sq.ft. guest home rents for $100/night) with breaks for longer stays. When a songwriter is serious about getting a quality music production and comes to WORK, we greatly reduce the amount for the guest home (s) as well as Jim's hourly music production fee.
Stay for a week or more and the guest home is only $50.00 each night, plus Jim drops his hourly music studio rate from $65.00 to $60.00!
The time required to fully produce each song will vary depending upon the complexity of the music arrangements the songwriter desires. Please feel free to contact us to discuss.
